My love for creating started years ago
Being a creative designer and small business owner has been an absolute dream of mine since I was young – dreaming dreams on a Norfolk beach with a flask of coffee, a slice of my Nan’s parkin, nestled behind a windbreak, with my nose in a craft book every summer holiday!

Hello! I’m Ruth, the Yorkshire lass and homebody behind Jolly Dee. Rooted in positivity, fuelled by coffee and a love of houseplants, Jolly Dee was created from a life-long desire to have an outlet to express myself, and help others to be inspired to have a more positive outlook on life, be reminded to look after themselves, and create a unique home and office space.
Many notice my naturally cheerful optimistic outlook, and I believe it translates into everything I create. "Jolly Dee" (from an old English term meaning "Jolly Delightful") reflects this core value for me.

My ideas are thoughtfully sketched in my notebook and hand drawn digitally. Designs are then assembled, packaged up, and posted to you with love from me!

I share your concern for the environment, which is why I use only recycled, recyclable, reusable, or compostable packaging. My packaging can either be re-used by you, or easily disposed of in your recycle bin or compost!
I strive to use recycled, sustainably sourced, and/or long lasting materials for my products where possible.
